Every day, Pintozor Prod. explores the work that goes on behind the scenes of the magic of live performances. In the shadow of the Talus Curtat, the young participants in La Cité des enfants share their experiences as audience members and their questions about careers in the performing arts. Artists, technicians and cultural workers also come to answer our questions and talk about their creative routines, their working conditions and the potential challenges they face.
Pintozor Prod. is a collective specialising in ‘mutant’ arts. It was founded by Audrey Bersier and Maxine Reys. Trained as filmmakers and theatre directors, they now focus on creating immersive experiences: performances, sound walks, radio productions and interactive installations. They regularly collaborate with artists they admire, such as Marion Thomas (Survival Kit in Male-Dominated Territory), Alexandre Montin (Amazing Journey), Lorraine Perriard (Fossils of the Future) and the Cie du Bouc (TU!). They have produced two radio pieces: Nous on est des oiseaux, ça nous intéresse pas tout ça, co-produced by Labo-RTS (2019), and Machines, co-produced by Radio Bascule (2021). They host the Quartier Libre programme by Pintozor Prod. on Radio Vostok. Someone important once said that they do weird but brilliant stuff.
