Le repos du guerrier is a slightly eccentric one-person show that combines theatre and circus. In this performance, the jack-of-all-trades Édouard Peurichard (knife thrower, acrobat, and amateur videographer) shares an intimate—albeit slightly ironic—glimpse into his journey as a circus artist. The audience follows a worn-out acrobat and dubious knife thrower as he attempts to reenact the most memorable moments of his professional career.

Scenes that are real, imagined, or sometimes even completely plagiarized subtly reveal the hopes and sacrifices of an artist’s life.
