La Niña

La Niña is the solo project of Carola Moccia, a singer-songwriter and producer from Naples who is a pioneer in the art of bridging tradition and contemporary music while projecting both into the future. Her music, performed entirely in the Neapolitan dialect, draws on percussive rhythms, loops, and motifs that transform ancient forms into immediate, catchy songs. Each track oscillates between call, repetition, and gradual build-up. Using the highly evocative and powerful language of her city as her medium, her artistic exploration spans multiple disciplines: from singing to writing, from theater to film, from dance to visual arts. On stage, La Niña and her musicians create an intense and generous celebration, where movement, vocals, and rhythm take center stage. This same generosity is evident on her album Furèsta, released in 2025 and awarded the prestigious prize for Best Album in Dialect in Italy. This date marks her very first appearance in Switzerland, while already being a sensation in Italy!
