Ix : variations

In a small village in southwestern France, a child named Ix is born, a child of uncertain and shifting identity. Like a 17-track pop album, this performance—comprising 17 fragments, each written in a radically different style and tailored specifically to their performer—traces the life of this character. From birth to adulthood, the performance explores various layers of violence—social, familial, and historical violence—that punctuate the life of a queer child and ultimately shape it.
