Drawing on the dual meaning of the English word “carry”—to carry and to care for—How much we carry? explores what we can carry physically, but also within ourselves, and our limits in the face of all the things that are in constant imbalance. To give shape to these questions, the two circus artists have chosen the practice of the acrobatic pole, an apparatus that has left its mark on the history of the circus.
