Christian Zehnder & Andreas Schaerer

When Christian Zehnder and Andreas Schaerer come together, their voices open up a world of adventure. One draws on Alpine traditions, yodeling, and overtone singing; the other on jazz and beatboxing. Together, they push boundaries with shouts, breaths, rhythms, and unexpected bursts of sound. For the Festival de la Cité, they continue their collaboration, which began at the Alpentöne Festival, by creating a special performance to be experienced within the Crescendo installation on La Place du Château, transforming this space into an open-air vocal playground.
